Alrie leads communications for the Foundation, Corporate Citizenship program, and stakeholder engagement, creating opportunities for the Foundation to learn from community, and community organizations to learn from each other.
Alrie came to the Foundation from FSG, an international, mission-driven consulting firm, where she was associate director of strategic communications. In this role, she oversaw content marketing strategy; managed design and development of reports, infographics, and video; and developed campaign communications strategies. Alrie also spent more than a decade with the American Cancer Society in California and Massachusetts. Alrie graduated from The Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s degree in public communication. A certified Reframing Aging facilitator, she works locally, regionally and nationally to help nonprofit organizations, businesses and government agencies communicate more effectively on aging, ageism and issues important to older people.
