Canton, MA — Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan today announced nine grants totaling $90,000 through its philanthropic arm, the Point32Health Foundation.  The grants, directed by Point32Health’s Colleague Resource Groups (CRG), will go to nine nonprofit community organizations in the region to help improve health outcomes.

“The close partnership between our CRG leaders and Foundation team each year to select, invest in and create meaningful connections with community organizations, helps us to continue to be a community of care—learning from and serving alongside each other,” said Sarah Pashe, director of Inclusion & Experience at Point32Health.

“Point32Health Foundation’s colleague-led grant initiative continues to grow each year, providing additional resources to community organizations,” said Beth Chandler, executive director of the Point32Health Foundation. “Through this investment, we can deepen relationships between colleagues and the communities they’re passionate about, driving lasting impact.”

Some examples of the organizations receiving grants include: Empowering People for Inclusive Communities (EPIC), Dismas Home of New Hampshire, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly BostonVet2Vet Maine, and Worcester Roots Project. Each organization will receive a one-year $10,000 general operating grant, double what was granted by the colleague-led initiative in 2024.

In addition to the grants, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan colleagues will engage with the organization through volunteer service or other opportunities throughout the next year. All Point32Health CRGs and their events are open to all colleagues employed by Point32Health.
