Allie brings experience as a community advocate and communications professional to her role supporting communications for the Foundation and Corporate Citizenship program. She joins us from Action for Boston Community Development, an anti-poverty community action agency in Greater Boston. As the senior grant writer, Allie raised essential funding for a diverse portfolio of programs from housing to workforce development
Previously, Allie served as the Grants and Communications Manager at BUILD Boston, supporting the entrepreneurship organization’s development and stakeholder engagement goals. She is passionate about providing resources to communities in need and representing the voices of under-resourced community members in all facets of communications.
A Maine native, Allie graduated from Clark University with a bachelor’s degree in International Development and Social Change and a master’s degree in Community Development and Planning.
